Hi

Hijacking threads again!

We're picking up an Aircooled bus at the weekend - ducks, and waits for dust to settle! - It's a 1.6 - is this gonna be really underpowered? should I start looking out for a second hand 2.0 straight away?
Borrowed a 2.0 for a week and it was nice to drive, albeit very thirsty!

We'll be getting the bus lpg'd as soon as we can sell the one we currently have :(

Cheers

Melvin

from what i can remember the ct isnt tht much more underpowered than the cu, but you must be really gentle with it underload, they are known for snapping the cam, you just cant hammer them like you can the cu, which means mind the motorway mountains!

Nothing wrong with it Jed, it's just not big enough for four :(

We've found a hightop 1.6 that'll allow us enough money over to have it gassed, we'll have more room for camping and I'll be able to afford to run an Aircooled bus :D

Thanks Mocki, that's cool then, I tend to drive in a more leisurely manner in campers anyway, I like to take the time to enjoy it :D

Thanks again

Melvin
