I had a feeling you'd say something along that line .
Definitely could be easier than that. I wanted to reasearch if any one had done it .
Obviously not anyone on here so it remains to be seen wether it was a good idea or not .
I didn't say at any point I was going to do it .
The thread would only remain interesting if you had something constructive
to add . :P

The engines i was refering to were petrol.2.8 6cylinder.I havent personaly fitted one but did fit a lot of its smaller brother the 1.8sss or the 2L 4cylinder version.A friend of mine had a 6cylinder one in his van and wow that van went like a bat out of hell.I would say it was better than my 3L V6 van.
There is a lot of reconstruction to do in the rear to make space though. It will extend to almost half way through ure rear bumper. And of course u will have to raise ure deck lid and modify ure tail gait.
But with having a crewcab u will not need this.
Personaly not worth the effort considering u can fit a 4cylinder and save ureself the hasle.

Thanks, thats more or less what I figured .
Its interesting to know though that someone gave it a go .
I've seen nissian six cylinders stuffed into the back of old saggy bottom bays so It seemed a reasonable suggestion for a t25
As for my own bus I'll probably go with the 1.9 for the moment especially since I have a van 1.6td on the ground , bell housing and a tank.
Still need to find out where to get those tank straps though
