pps I read if installed inside the vehicle it needs to be in a gas tight container.. is your in one? or have i missed some information out?

filling up is not a depressing task any more.
I had mine done 3 years ago and remember asking the very same questions.
I reckon we've saved thousands of pounds in fuel costs...Our camping habits have changed to the point of having to be at home some weekends
We even just go for a drive!

no the tank is not in a container it is the container and should the outlet/inlet leak all the gas lines are enclosed and vented outside. if you can see in the picture the perspex cover over the inlet and outlet that is vented outside too.
I think that you should speak to Steve regarding the technical stuff.. but I believe he has started his Christmas break

another question, do you get a gauge type thing so you know when your running low? or do you need to keep an eye on your miles ?

you get a small unit with one red led light and 4 green led's for your gauge. to be honest i use the miles gauge on the speedo. usually i get 180 - 190 miles per £24 of gas and 160 miles driveing round town on a 2.1i hightop.

yes as jed says you get a gauge.
I use the odometer though.
I do know when you are down to the red......there are 10 litres left...40 odd miles
to find a gasser.
of which there are 15,000 outlets now...never a worry.
the petrol in my tank cost 79p three years ago...it's still there

thanks chaps, so i guess there is a switch to change fuel types and the led guage affair fitted to the dash? if so has anyone got a picture? I am definatly going to convert asap

200 litres! _ I reckon you could get one of those lorry articulated things to tow on your towbar - they must carry a few litres more?
