hi guys, yes i changed the blue sender, (the ecu 1) then i did the 4x4 day out and it was still as bad, i thought i'd fixed it but the new oil must have been good stuff then when it was fresh then a few km's down the road the smoke started, then after the run it was miss-firing and chucking out so much smoke other drivers were staying well back or passing me!
i've got a spare motor so i'm gonna play swapsies then sort it out later!

when the lambda was changed did you use genuine ?
Have you checked back wiring to ecu ?
When it goes black smoke does disconnecting lambda and insulating the wire to the ecu cure it ?
Also check the vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator, if take off from plenum is grunged up regulator will not work properly and will overfuel, jewlers screwdriver will ream out the pipe off the plenum chamber
