Well that will be 6 hours to Aberdeen, then 12 hours on the ferry, 24 hours on the pi$$, mmm, might give a miss, thanks for the offer,

Point taken, it is a long way for a few drams. Its also midweek in January, not the best time to be taking time off.

We checked out flights and it turned out to be roughly the same as the ferry all told. With the van we have our own B&B
