Anyone use a silencer on their eberspacher?

ringo i would have thought that the inlet shouldnt have an exhaust on it as it may cause a restriction on air entering the heater then you might end up with it not working again?? Just an idea?

You may be right - but there is actually a picture in the eber manual with a silencer on the inlet and outlet - so i thought i would give it a try.

I think the key is to keep the system balanced - so putting a silencer on the inlet may balance the one on the outlet (it doesnt work with just the oulet one on anyhow)...
