Lappy charging

Post by BassKat & Missy »

Hi
I spent most most of the last year in the van as an office completing my university & when not running on mains i used the maplin charger which works a treat.

I'm running a fast dual processor pc with a 3D grapics card and working the pc quite hard.

When i used a mains inverter it didt fully charge the PC when runing the apps so just prolonged the charge duration.

Cheers
Clive

Keep in mind that even mains voltage can vary up to 15 volts each side. The problem with the sony batteries was because of how the dell computer charging circuit was dealing with them. It was causing problems. The Sony Vaios never had any problems. I spoke to Sony about this cause I worked in a Sony centre at the time. Anyway all that said, the cleaner your power is the better. Id get the maplin gizmo.
