my spacer is made from 30 amp wire :roll: but it is solid

Right , I've finally order the parts I think I need

part numbers 5 & 16 off the above diagram. Took the column apart on Tuesday afternoon and found that the top bearing was worn and because I might need the spacer I though it would be best to but a new standard spacer and cut a bit of the old one to make up the extra 3-5mm required.

I will try and get some piccies of the job as I go along so it can be Wickied :D
