What do you mean? - 'the wrong way'.
Was there a right way?
I suppose there was as our merry band came a close last!
But we did have time for a civilised pub lunch on Sunday.
Most enjoyable, many thanks to all of you but special mention to the my compatriots (Russel, Jake, Andrew and Al) and of course to the organising committee Kev, Stan (where was he?) Simon and the event sponsors.
And Kev, if this 'ten days' is going to be as good as this count me in wherever and whatever it is!
Will sort pics out when I can stay awake for a reasonable length of time.
And finally, my total mileage for the weekend (which included a visit to my parents in Norfolk) was a couple of miles short of 1000.

Took me time getting back in time for tes today, big up to Kev and Simon, the rest of the usual unsung heros and to Matt and especially Andy for navving the team about pretty successfully. Hats off to the winners.

Got home, had a cup of tea and then jacked up the van and got off the bent engine protector, hopefully the press will be able to correct the deformed plates that wererattling against the gearbox and engine, and the exhaust is off to discover yes the cat had split apart under the previous welded plates and the exhaust cement. Got the old lambda out, 1996 date on it, probably duff anyway, but I'll try it in the decat pipe and see.

This weekend has been absolutely PHENOMINAL

- the organisation Kev and his wrekky team!, and the team Clive (patience is a virtue), Jeny (Excellent route planner), Dai ( made our brakes smoke), Debs (chief warder offer of man with guns!), Andy (man with SIKA which was absolutely AWESOME [Andrew says wicked]

) and Tyke (spot on).

One little grumble has to be the Aidensfields Arms - Their childrens policy? - We left our mark on their grass

Brilliant bring it on....

Best weekend so far, many thanks to everyone for making it happen and making it a thouroughly fantastic weekend, Kev-Hats off dude! Jenny for navigating, Clive for keeping us at a good pace and not forgetting rest of the team, Sharon, Pete n kids and Andy, hope you enjoyed your first laning experience. Thanks to the Police for not arresting us for being in sellafield at 1.30am on saturday morning(ooops).

Great to put some faces to names and always good to make new freinds.

Nah then you lot . . . . Tyke here . . . . . just having a minute on Dai's 'puter. Good to see some of you again and to meet a few more new faces.

Top weekend even though I didn't join you all untill you were in the Dales. Well done to all who had any involvement in the organising and no doubt that there will be more similar events to come.

My mate Vinny is really impressed with how the syncros work the trails and lanes . . . reckon you may have a convert there when he get his test passed.

Didn't know that... Pete and Dai's 2.1's did seem to both go well, whilst i was busy missing gears.

Andy with the dark glasses above, has, in way of explanation, a certain nosey horse to blame... for that look

My van suffered a cracked Windscreen and came down to drive it to work yesterday morning and was confronted with a completely flat tyre. Quite how it lasted the 900 miles, then gave up...

End to End sounds interesting...

I suppose if we had gone the 'right way' then we would have seen the white horse.
Jake, you should get yourself a rugged T4 for those extreme conditions you experience in London!
Grateful if Al would send a few pics of my T4 in action.
