yes the leisure battery has a split charge relay fitted, had the battery checked at the shop across the road tonight and apprently its in perfect condition, allthough he did say his book says vw transporter needs a 95ah battery ? the one i have is a 65 ? i have had it since before last winter and didnt have any probs ?
The starter did have a problem early this year, where it would keep sticking and i had to bump start - i cleaned the inside of solnoid and all the contacts and the prblem went away, and to this day no sticking problems.
How could i identify the starter as a problem ? is getting it rebuilt any difference in price to getting it swapped at gsf etc. ?
