I reckon mid 30's (approx 2 bars) is too low for a twin axle. More like 50-55psi for stability.

Less than double the weight, but (depending on relative tyre size) double the contact area on the road. So to my mind that means a lower pressure to achieve the same squish in the tyre. You also have double the sidewalls to help with lateral stability.

But, my experience was a good 12/13+ years ago. So take it with a pinch of salt.

Thats a great find, thanks! Now I can make sense of the electrical system and label the fuses. Might even get the alarm working...

So all was well, did some more prep and renovation then dragged the shed to a dog show to do some winning.
Arrived on the Friday afternoon and the fridge would NOT light, so popped the vents and listened for gas...no telltale hiss.
With some basic tools I removed the windsheild from around the jet/burner and then got the jet off. The culprit was a combination of rusty dust that had been shaken loose and condensation/rain induced zinc corrosion blocking the jet.
Did the dirty field repair to clear the jet using a wooden kebab stick and a rosette pin!
Gas flowed, easy ignition, , no leaks, cold fridge.
Still doesn't work on 12v so I think that element is kaput. So far our journeys are around the 2 hour mark so with a bit of advance planning the fridge can be cold before we set off and will .

To be perfectly honest you are really not going to get much more than maintaining whatever temp you have got the fridge down to before you switch to 12v in a carav*n because the 12v element will be not getting the voltage it needs from 30ft of 3amp wire and a connector between your vehicle battery and the fridge , its a carav*n thing ( the one that gives rise to the myth that three way fridges only maintain temperature, which isnt the case in a camper if they are installed correctly with no voltage drop)
You should be able to measure the voltage drop when you switch the fridge to 12v which the engine running easily enough to tell if the element is good or bad tho

I never expected it to get cold off 12v, only to maintain temp when driving. Any "portable" fridge gets put on 240v a good 24-48 hours before departure to get it cold.
However, flick the 12v switch and no litey, but it might be dependent on the van being connected and running, which I can't recall checking specifically.
