I thought I'd post up some pics of where i ended up. So I have removed the radio to make a bit of room to see whats going on & through the ash tray. I plan to get some help from either brother whose good with electrics or pay someone but want to get a head start and have it ready with new parts etc.
My main question would be where to access & reroute the new wires for no 3 fuse & circuit - So I know that the lights,. radio cig lighter etc went through fuse 3 & one side is live - how do I go about replacing it, assuming it could be melted further down, I can see it disappear behind steering wheel - will it still go through the fuse board - bit of a noob question but will both sides route through the fuse board even if 1 side is live??
I plan to add better usb charger, new dash light, volt meter for batteries & so on.
Here's some pics
The cig lighter light bulb - I'm pretty sure worked when I first got the van but can't for the life of me find a corresponding missing wire.
