Pin 11 of the 14 way connector (blue wire) should have alternator output voltage when alternator is charging, and be more or less short to ground when not charging.

Found it! The connector at pin 11 was pushed inside the connector. Just hope I can make it good. See photo which compares pin 11 to pin 10.
