This is what I mean. You can pay a lot for a new ready-to-go bottle or tank once you add up all the fixtures you have to buy. It will be several years in some cases before the gas savings actually cover the cost. If you watch ebay long enough, small LPG tanks do come up and even when you factor in straps and a valve change, you can generally do it for under £100.
