I'd be happy with that sort of cost. Ive already ordered the part from Schofield. £30 per hour round here's going to be hard. I've got to the point where the hassle and cost is outweighing the fun.

I don't like the look of that where the suspension arm bolt locates. I'm pretty sure that it's vital to get the mount hole for the suspension arm spot on or your rear geometry will be out, causing tyre wear and such like. If you can find, therefore, a firm who can undertake it, make sure that they can get the geometry correct too (assuming that I'm right that it needs of course)

You are right. The geometry needs to be correct for the reasons you suggest. Both the inner mount and outer mount have elongated bolt holes, in opposite directions, to allow for adjustment and set up. Search for posts about it as you would need to make up a jig so the new one can be exactly located.

I'm sure a fairly accurate alignment tool could be fashioned out of wood. As long as when its offered up it shows where the jacking point and bolt holes should be, it'll work ok. Just reference it from anything that won't get hacked into during the reconstruction. Once the vehicle is on axle stands it won't move much so even ground to jacking point measurements will be useful, plus you'll have some references from opposing side.

My son had the same on both sides with his 1980 Devon. Gladly it was an mot failure as it should be. I am very surprised yours passed with your rear arms and mounts so rotten.
The only and safe solution is to get both sides professionally repaired. My son's rear arms were holed and he had to source new ones.
The repair was carried out by a knowledgeable repairer who had done the job on other T25's.
Repair involved extensive welding of the body mounting area, rear sill area and new jacking points as the rot was far worse than could be seen.
The cost of repairs was around £700.
Please don't fill it or drive it in a rot condition as the suspension may collapse.

Fortunately the other side is solid. I'm not going anywhere even to get a quote as I can't get it started
