Yes, 'twas me trying to find that spring. I had grown tired of using the 4sp linkage and housing on a 5sp gearbox..!!
Brickwerks supplied everything, including the ball bearing - everything that is, except that spring.
Silverbullet directed me the way of Lee springs. All I would add is that if you do use them - and I can recommend them - get a spring with slightly less force than the one in the thread attached above.
It works fine and does the job, and my gears are 200% better then they were, but if were to do it again, I would like a little less force being required to pass the indent mechanism for first and reverse.
As I say, it works fine as it is and no way near enough of an issue for me to change it - I am just passing on the one thing I would have different.
If I were a little more savvy I would have also ordered a batch of 10 or so for people who need one, as this is the second time I have seen someone in need of one since I did mine.
