I've just added a 'how to' in the WIKI for anyone who wants to have a go at fitting a PWM controller :D

Thats how I did it anyway. Works brilliantly and doesn't consume anywhere near what it did with resistors.

You can do the same mod if your existing fan is in good order, without the need to remove dash which is pretty cool (excuse the pun). The control box has an LED which could be extended and a small hole drilled in the fascia to show the unit is on. I might do that mod too at some point.
