JX re-starting problem when shut down quickly from hot

All a high value would do is make it glow for the maximum time - fine just for a test.

For the sake of testing why not just unplug the connector so that it glows for the maximum time, the circuit switches off as soon as you start it so you won't burn out the plugs.

Took the glow plug timer relay apart today. All the capacitors were in range but found quite a few dry joints on the circuit board, so they are most likely what are causing the problems.

Ignore the unsoldered parts, thats just where I took the capacitors out of circuit to test them, but if you look closely you can see some of the bad joints.

Good work. My glow plug relay board is a mass of copper strands bridging broken tracks, but has worked OK for 14 years like that. :)
