So long as you remember how to change it all will be good ... the main compensation is that the fasteners won't have time to seize solid before you need to change it again

Personally, given the pain in the rear that changing the slave can be, I'd rather be changing one every five years than having one that lasts ten but takes a fortnight to get off. 
I had to use Irwins to shift nuts/bolts on mine. No way would it have come off otherwise. Would seem a good move to smear fixings with copper grease.
