Note: The following Tekaloid colours varnishing is (was) recommended to ensure maximum gloss retention.
Varnishing is not necessary with the Alkyd resin now used in Tekaloid enamel.

* Bright red
* Brilliant red
* Chestnut
* Crimson
* Dark blue
* Deep crimson
* Dominion blue
* Ford ambassador blue
* Ford dark blue 1146
* Land Rover bronze green
* Land Rover sand
* Maroon
* Middle blue
* Oxford blue
* Poppy red
* Post Office red
* Royal blue
* Sapphire blue
* Signal red
* Tan brown

Instead of varnishing over the colours above to enhance gloss retention, varnish can be added to the paint directly, 10%, 25% or even 50% is quite acceptable. There are two types of varnish available, Pale and extra pale, the latter being more clear.

Touch dry describes an almost dry surface and testing is done by using the back of your fingers, the back of your fingers are more sensitive to "touch" and are less likely to damage the paint surface as opposed to using your fingertips.

The rollering gets the paint coverage on quick, it`s the laying off that gives you the finish. Not talking B&Q fluffy paint rollers

KTM orange is the blokes prefernce, I don`t think they do that in Tekaloid I thought cellulose paint was getting hard to find now? Maybe not, as for 2-pack spraying, if you value your health then it`s not for the home sprayer
