That scooby conversion would be epic but I can't justify the time and cost Keith. This year is going to be full on with house stuff so the only attention the van will be getting is a new engine and, as you know! lol a new roof!

true enough....and maybe a new heater if I get my finger out!

I had an Aircooled I spent lot on the rebuild I should have gone down the new block route...kept the old for spares rebuild

Before contacting people like elite etc pop a wnted ad up Steve Shaw had a good 2L Aircooled, may still be on Facebook

Windy - get in touch with Sarran on here.....he may be able to offer advice on you engine...what he doesn't know about Aircooled isn't worth knowing :-)

Not saying your chap isn't right...but sometimes another viewpoint will assist!
