Just bought a dozen veg samosas and onion bhajia, along with a sack of decent basmati so I will get a cauldron of rice on the go.

Re: Adventure Overland 'Saturday Night Feast'
It is not long before the start of AO so just a last reminder before you hit the shops for the weekend provisions
Remember you don't have to cook from scratch, pre cooked or packed is fine for our starters, mains, sweets and nibbles array! (also serving spoons would be good if your dish requires it) .
The menu is looking good and it is great to have so many contributions, the more we have to offer, the more we can sample and share
Could we also please ask that everyone brings cutlery and a bowl to the feast, (we do have some disposable plates and bowls but maybe not enough to go around) and your own drinks and any drinks to share
This may seem a little forward of the event but could we please ask that everyone collects their belongings from the club tent on Sunday morning and also ask for volunteers to help with the clearing up prior to our Sunday Syncro display at 10am
One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the bringing of a fire (type) pit that sits off the ground? If anyone has such a thing for the group to sit around on a chilly evening, could you please post up. If this is possible then donations of wood could also be added to the list of things to bring.
Look forward to seeing you all there

We can bring our washing machine drum pit. Is this ok with the organisers though?
It will scorch the ground beneath it.

That would be great if you could and we are ok as long as we keep it off the ground so I will bring some bricks to sit it on and wood.
If anyone else has wood, charcoal or fire blocks it would be much appreciated.
The good thing is I'm seeing no rain for the weekend and a yellow ball on occasions . . . I don't think it will be quite a repeat performance weather wise to last year but pretty bloody good event wise
And that sounds great Lloyd. Ian's speciality is 'changing the post topic' . . . looking forward to catching up Ian

Re: Adventure Overland 'Saturday Night Feast'
We won't be staying all evening so will put our nibbles in a disposable container to help tidying Sunday.
