Indicators don't work when headlights are on ?!! Help

Most likely to be the wiper arms slipping on the spindles, adjust them into the correct position when parked by loosening the nuts on the spindles, then loosen the arms by rocking then up and down. When they are right, tighten them down, don't go mad but they need to be fairly tight. Run them for a while with the blades hinged up off the screen to check operation, if ok try with one blade down, then the other.

Clean the splines first - they get clogged with bits of alloy and prevent a good grip.

So very grateful for all the advice and guidance. Apart from saving around £500 on garage costs,, we have learned a lot more about the campervan and have more confidence in trying and fix things if and when things go wrong...... within reason of course. Being our 1st campervan we are VW Virgins...... so all the help we have rece4ved here has been so beneficial to us. THANK YOU ALL XXXXXXX
