5. Sensors fitted to each individual CV bolt to detect if any go loose with a 24 LED display so you know instantly which one and when you crawl underneath the bolt lights up.

6 - An ice blue one to let you know when the beer in the fridge is cold enough.
7 - One that is on a re-settable 12 month timer, to tell you your MOT is about to run out (not altogether silly that one).
8 - A flashing tri-colour one, red/amber/yellow, and a siren, indicating "I bliddy knew I should have replaced that dodgy fuel line"
9 - A very grey one, to warn you the Radio4 afternoon play is about to come on.
10 - ...........
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aside = can you have a grey light?
Remember "black light" bulbs, actually ultra violet of course. I had a girl friend (note, "girl friend", not "girlfriend") and I when she asked why they were called "black light" bulbs I told here that if you were in a normally illuminated room, and turned them on, it would make the room go dark. "Oh, what a good idea" she said, "can you get me some".(true story btw)
At this point we need one that will come on to let us know that one of the others is not operating correctly.
Best not to mess about then. Sod it, completely remove dash and replace the lot with a panel like this. There should also be a turbo display for when you reach 70 going downhill fully laden with appropriate warp drive noises:
A windscreen that shows a peaceful beach scene automatically when driving through rough areas.
This does take a certain amount of trust that you're still driving in a straight line though.
A light that you don't know what it is for but intermittently comes on so it gives you something else to worry about.
And there is of course that mysterious green light that never comes on. Thanks to Trucker, I now know what it's for.
But back to the beginning. The important thing is to keep an eye on the temperature gauge, that's what I do. That way deafness doesn't matter. If the gauge goes too high - stop!
With the rumble of the finely NASA tuned 1.6n/a engine and my deafness hearing the fan isnt always an option !
Having read other posts on chicken wiring the fan others have put a light on as well also seems to popular on TR6s
