Yep I am all stocked up on oil and filters. First thing out will be the oil! :) just need to find a pump or repair kit. They don't seem to do a 2.0l one. I ma have to go electric cos I really need it running! Landy just failed mot on rear brakes. I love cars!
I was thinking past rings when choke open. I'll have to get the pump off and see! I can't be sure on the level as the drive slopes and its in backwards to las time I checked!
Thanks again!

Yep, you will likely have to go electric. No big deal or expense. CovKid has just done a write up on how to (somewhere  ) They have advantages over the old lift pump anyway.

T25 flat fours are quite particular about being on level ground when checking the oil. even a bit of a slope can give a pretty bad false reading ;)
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here

Thanks, I'll get searching then!
I'm going to get a set of chocks so I can level the van to keep an eye on the oil level.
Thinking ill do a thermostat controlled oil cooler at the same time as I'm dropping the oil and under there anyway!!!
Once again thanks for the advice!
