Re: RIGHT STUDS ?
Should be at least 98's Mitchell - that's what I'm getting fitted to mine.
E D I T- As per Big Herb's post on an older thread: The tyres are rated for which axle carries the maximum load, which on a most T25's is the rear axle at 1400 kg which dived by two needs a minimum 96 load index tyre.

Re: RIGHT STUDS ?
95 rated are ok iirc unless your commission plate states a higher axle weight at GVW, but will be at the lower limit.
Ok on a bus and more comfy than commercial C tyres!

Re: RIGHT STUDS ?
Where you'll really feel it is coming out of a sharp turn fast - say a T-juction. Back end will skitter because of the weight placed on them - wall of the tyres can get great stresses placed on them at times. To be honest I actually LIKED driving on car tyres in terms of the softer ride but you're forever getting punctures and they wear away rapidly. 8-ply tyres are correct for a T25 even if significantly harder in comparison and they stand up to the stresses you're likely to place on them.
Or if it came to it, fit steel merc wheels, say 15". Because 15" is common in the commercial vehicle sector, there tends to be a far greater choice and therefore more competion. Certainly my tyre bill was virtually halved doing that. On stock T25 14" wheels, there were fewer 8-ply lines and I found I was paying a premium just to drive on, well, skateboard wheels.
Price. Depends where you are at the time. I got my Merc steelies on a lucky ebay auction for £20 for four. Present set of tyres, four brand new Michelin 8-ply tyres for £120 - again ebay. I buy a year ahead of when I'm likely to need new tyres. That then gives me a full twelve months to source and strike a deal on the next set. Its sods law that if you need wheels or tyres more immediately, you'll pay top dollar which is why I shop ahead. No hurry - bargains are easily found.

Re: RIGHT STUDS ?
Sadly there isn’t a simple list of what will fit because a few will fit "as is" but most require some machining of some sort to fit (usually the big hole in the centre needs enlarging) and some require different studs and / or spacers. Then there is the question of load rating. Some folks fit wheels off cars (mostly Mercedes) but others won't do that because they are not load rated for a van and there might be legal / insurance issues.
The ones that fit straight on are the standard steel T25 wheels, and the "Carat" alloy T25 wheels. If you can find a set of Carats in good nick you know they will fit and be legal (and they look good).

Re: RIGHT STUDS ?
Blimey, either seller a right chancer or my wheels have gone up 100 times in price:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/W-126-Mercede ... 43aa603c59" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And they're rusty!! I'd expect at least powder coated for that and even then - £427
- then theres carriage on top of that.
Popular choice for T2s and T3s in Germany though as they bolt straight on, take you up to 15", speedo starts reading correctly and they're tough rims - meant for heavy Merc cars. They can be had cheaper than that though. Struth.
I think Hakuna Matata may have a set he wants to sell. I love mine so much I bought a spare set so I can get them coated.

Re: RIGHT STUDS ?
If you want original wheels they often come up in 'for sale' or even 'giveaway' section of 80/90.
For Hakuna Matata, send him a PM. Search for his name and there should be a 'PM' link under that.
