Does this material come with a foam backing or is it just the material?

Any chance you could find out? We can't be the only people who would like some fabric for a Westy like ours. I understand the seat material in particular was very susceptible to wear. Thanks.

Ok, had a reply back and its bad news , that joker material is no longer available , theres no future plans to reproduce it either , not enough demand to warrant it. Sorry guys.

Upholstery material

Post by clift_d »

That's a shame.

I wonder whether they'd reconsider if sufficient demand could be demonstrated- for example a minimum batch as a group buy, and what sort of quantity that would need to be? Having said that you'd probably need to have distributors like Günzl or GoWesty on board to make it work.
Thanks for taking the time to make those enquiries.

Ended up buying mine off E-bay. I searched for "10m upholstery fabric" and there were loads of different types available, though obviously they're not all suitable for camper seats/beds. I needed 10m because I was doing both the top and bottom mattress covers, but if you don't need that much there's probably even more choice. Good price too. Now to get them made up. Using Totally Trimmed in Bournemouth.
