Like I said.....all slightly confusing given that the relay in your diagram is a common 4 pin type with two wires coming off terminal 87. All the relays I have seen used on Jokers/California's have been 5 terminal types.
If this diagram is correct, the only conclusion that there can be is it was changed or modified at some point.
