You're right - at 1mm it's half as thick as the original. But it's only supporting the joint between the rubber flexi hose and the short (~3") u-shaped pipe in the back of the calliper. So the only pull on it will be from the tension in the flexi at full lock - I reckon it'll be fine for the time being.

Me too, rare to find parts that are superior in quality than the originals. Would you mind sharing with us how you made these? Thanks.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

I was only saying to the lad in programming, the bloke on the laser and the guy on the press brake how gifted i am at sheet metal.... :wink:
