Not really you have to know a ballpark figure or you won't know if something is wrong. I recently had one choke fail apart a more rapid emtpying of the fuel tank I and a slightly increased idle speed after a 170 odd mile motorway run. I didn't feel much else wrong. Same engine as you 18-22mpg mixed driving. 16-19 at 70-80mph on motorways depending on a headwind, 15-16 towing the caravan, 13 with only one choke working.
