thanks for the pics dave! How long has it been on?

I am on a budget so can't really afford the vorigher stuff, also as mentioend i will prob get the sheet cut down via a cutting list. Although last time we did our interior it we made countless trips to the wood merchants as it was a bit of trial and error. I suppose if you worked it out before hand it would be better. he he he

Not sure about joing it together yet.. prob just screw it all together like i did with the chipboard one. I did notice that aldi were selling biscuit joiners though quite cheap, so nto too sure.

I reckon I'll take a trip down to the wood merchants this weekend to see what they have and price it up etc.

thanks guys.

it's been on for coming up to a year, and has stood the challenge very well, no peeling, or marking other than where my loverly boys have thrown tools and the like at it!!

for joining the sheets, look here

at the mouldings, can be screwed or glued!

as I dont know how to do the links right I have pm'd you a temp password for the above

i used laminate faced mdf and sealed the edges etc as for weight ?well there wasnt much left with all the door holes etc. I made the doors with mdf and routered them then had them sprayed in flip flop opalescent to match the flooring!, worktop is solid beech block routered on the underside and again with all the cut outs dont weigh too much

cool!
Mike, those pics look ace! Do you have any pics of the doors you made too and got sprayed? Interested to see what you mean by flip flop pearlescent.
How much was the laminate faced mdf, and did you get it from a normal wood merchants? I take it the actual cupboards where made with ply, but just the front faced with the mdf?
looks lovely!

ps, to put pics up, alls you do is copy the url of your image you want to post, then press the IMG button above, paste the url then press Img button again. this should work as your pics are already on photobucket.

Thanks!

will take some picks of the doors after the w end

I got some cushion flooring which is copper/silver/greyish so got a place I have an interest in to paint them, this paint is subtle in so far as dependent on the light etc it looks different colours, in this case silver/copper, though it is very subtle and some folk cant spot it, if I did the whole van then you would but it would cost too much and is near impossible to match if scratched, hence insurance need to knowif you have your van/car done.
ta for tips on posting I did this once but the image was real small??
