had a grate weekend, the journey home was a bit of a shock as the rear wheel bearing collapsed at 70mph while passing fleet services, felt as if the wheel was going too fall off, got recovered back to the services and then had to wait there to be recovered home, so while the girls went off dine at dirty rons, i got chatting to a rather stressed coach driver scratching his head looking at the hydraulic system of his coach full of unhappy americans on there way down to stone henge. as i had nothing to do i thought i would have a look, i roped in a solder to lend me and army issue hammer and half an hour later there were a lot of happy yanks back on there way to stone henge and our camper is missing a few nuts and bolts now holding a compressor tank together.
4 fingers represent 4th breakdown with the girls.
only took a couple of pics as i spent quite a bit of time under our van.
We past you guys coming up through Cheddar Gorge, we were in our beige Westy heading down to Brean beech yesterday afternoon, looked like some pretty awesome Syncros amongst you!!! would have loved to have found this thread earlier and come along to watch you all playing in the mud whilst i sit in my 2wd drinking tea and feeling left out!!
Hi Sages, Thanks for the great comments.
You know what you need to do!!

Thanks for organising such a good event first time out in such a lovely part of the world...
Was nice to take a back seat and relax a bit.
Neil ... when fixing that coach you should've put your Syncronauts hi-vis on as well as those rather fetching purple gloves... but Well Done for getting them going again.
That's a classic Aidan cooking stance... I expect the sour dough is rising nicely as well ready for the chapatis.
Piccies later ! Many good ones so far; have to say Emma's Flickr Stream is exceptiona!
Well, what a great weekend. Thanks for coming. This was the first event organised by the threesome of Mark, Rich and myself and we're very pleased it went well. Keep the photos coming, esepcially those that show the sun!
Three breakdowns in one weekend is a record for me. Van limped home and is sulking in garden until I fix-up the CVs.
Bad news - we didn't do half the byways. Good news - we've got plenty more for next time.
Conversations for next year have started already...
