Fan blades started to sound a bit clunky on start up on no 3 high setting before it stopped completely and just started blowing fuses

a haa, sorry ghost- on re-reading, i read this (quoted here) as 'the fan blows', and not 'the fuse blows' - ie the fan still worked on setting 3...

Our blower has not worked in the 5 years we've had it, kind of just got used to it, its not caused us great problems. just got to keep moving to keep the air coming through

Defogging Windscreen is a bit anoying though and then it does get cold driving unless you are moving fast

My fan had seized and bliss fuses. It's a pain. I haven't got the balls to try it yet. I am however in Plymouth and happy to try and help if I can.

There are quite a few threads with pixs of the fix. And the problems like dodgy bolts. We could look at doing both vehicles. I am halfway to selling on as is at the moment. How about meet to discuss. I am peverell terrace, near mutley.
