Basically yes, noticeably a bit firmer but not overly. If they come with 10mm washer/spacers on the shaft just ditch these. Michael at Brickwerks says that sometimes Bilstein includes these even though they are not necessary for our purposes.

When I pointed out the previous advice on your website of two shock bushes per side I got this reply from your colleague Michael. Its not in fact my eyes in this case.
"Sorry about that, its incorrect!
It’s the same part on the T4 rear damper, and they use 2 per side.
Just one per side on a T3."
