thanks for that mate and iv got it coverd,i orderd a complete new clutch and a mate is a mechanic and he's going to do it for me next week,going to use trolley jack to move it to and fro etc so fingers xsd it'l be ok.funny thing is iv got this weekend pre-booked for camping in wiltshire so were going to TENT it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Will also say tho had the engine running idle for half hour this am and no more oil leak :? strange. cheers for your help. :ok

well I guess the gearbox has to come out and the clutch replaced anyhow, so hopefully a good inspection should provide a definitive answer.

Good idea to replace the crankshaft seal anyhow . Hope its not the box seal, I dont know anything about them... Aidan is the man to talk too about boxes .

Wrong leroi she is still leaking engine oil!!!!!! kind of a relief really,will replace seals too. :ok

well shes in being fixed!!! new complete clutch,crank seal with flange,spigot bearing and o-ring too,£200+ ouch but worth it. but considering iv had her for 8yrs now and this has been the biggest single spend i cant really complain eh,thanks chaps for input. :ok

oh and new gear linkage too,so job done grand total £280 with labour :D :D :D rock'n'roll! :ok
