And so it continues.
Yesterday saw a repair to the rusty fridge panel - it was pretty bad

Today he's removed the old electric hook up and welded the hole up and removed two of the windows to reveal this;

According to the cursing I can hear from outside, the *rse*hole who originally converted our van, cut windows but didn't paint or seal the edges, so its been merrily rusting away ever since :roll:
Fingers crossed for a run of dry weather for a few weeks!

The bloke has been steaming along with this project for a couple of weeks now, the weather has been good so its been a case of 'make hay while the sun shines'
Both sides are welded and the windscreen has been out today to reveal the source of the footwell leak. I was a little nervous about taking it out without cutting the rubber, but fair doos, nige managed it no problem.
That's all the welding finished now - this weekend sees a transfer to my dads house to do the filler work, his driveway is more sheltered than ours so its easier to contain the dust. ....I'm getting impatient now, I'm itching to get out in our facelift van!!! :mrgreen:

Looking good Karen. What a good little worker he is and getting smaller all the time. You're losing the colour but not the eye lashes I hope!
