I know from personal experience! :oops: Didn't seize just lost vacuum, rapid oil top up cured it.

fair point, you were very lucky not to seize it 8)

I saw some idiots (top gear maybe?) test how long it took a car to seize while running it with no oil. It took most cars a long time - and one they actually gave up trying!

Clearly it's not going to do your engine any good though. Just sayin.....

They used to do that (with an Aircooled motor) at one of the big VW shows. It was horrid to watch and it stunk :twisted:
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here
