You keep saying smoke
does this smoke have a smell?
does it dissipate quickly, like vanishes ?
is it thick and dense?

on cold mornings all cars will have condensation, which clears as the exhaust warms up

it is not cold start white smoke..not oily smelling ..not exhaust smelly ..one time after bleeding the new brakes you could not see behind the van..recently it is a noticeable difference from cold start.. fluid tank has emptied over a couple of days.. when you press the brake pedal you can here fluid and air ...started up and holding the brake on and revving up you here bubbling noise from the servo when its vacuuming..the fluid that is left in the system i am convinced is in the brake lines and the servo and being sucked down the vac pipe .it is going somewhere...master cylinder has to be leaking .found a few drips on the floor and the bottom of the servo is a bit wet and rusty ..so i will replace..have found a second hand servo and i will replace as well ..will be interesting to see if i find fluid in the servo when i remove it .the van has had spongy brakes since i purchased her..i have since found a bit of history not from the cowboy i got her from.came from Scotland on a trailer where she had been sat for years under a carport never been run. somebody had been living in it ..had a fair bit of welding done to it and the engine had minimal things done to get it running..a quick paint job then sold to the cowboy..then i picked it up on ebay. papers that came with van show it had a replacement engine very early on in its life ..have the original bill...have replaced clutch master..and starting to replace other bits that are now showing up..they have lasted since new but over time rubber especially does not last..window ..door rubbers etc..i now find myself wanting everything as it was when new...it one big money pit and a lot of work.. i'm in it to the end now and from time to time i may need assistance thats where club 8090 comes in ..thanks for looking at my posts and offering suggestions.. not to good on a computer yet as i of the old school..era.....aj from shropshire

Brake servo will be saturated and as the brake fluid tends to soften the diaphragm in the servo it is wise to change it...nothing wrong with 2nd hand but preferably one that hasn't been off for long.

Yes, the brake fluid finds it's ways up the vacuum pipe, into the inlet manifold and then sucked into the engine where it burns with a white smoke as described.
