Hi folks thanks for all the replys, I would love a syncro and im still looking in to the triptonic gear box in one
and funny enough I have been looking on the net at Mitsubishi delicas there seems to be pleanty around
and I think the Mitsubishi delica may be the easier option and cheaper too but they dont look to have as much
room in side as a t25 may be the lwb would be better are they any good ? has any one had any experience
of them any thought guys
Cheers phil

I've had a l400 lwb delica for nearly 9 years. They are a brilliant van. Arguably the best std vehicle I've owned. Rubbish on fuel and compared to a Syncro rubbish off road. I love it !

Those rusted like buggery over here, can't imagine you'd have any left over there!

Do you guys not have the same exploding 2.8 mitsubishi diesels we have???

I thought the mods had blocked the pinzgauer posts for me and rich. That's going to be another month of counselling to get over :(

I love em too. Spent a couple of years instructing driver training on them. Only ever got one stuck' but managed to rock it out in the end.

I've put a few on their roofs, flip em back over bend the mirrors back. Drive off. :ok

The blurb says a manual gearbox is standard but has an 'expedition package' which has special gearing but no mention of an auto!

Thanks for all the info guys I think the pinzgauer and t5 would be out of my price range anyway so it looks like the only choice is a Delica if I want to camp out in it unless anyone knows of anything else ?
if I can get a cheap low milage one I wont have to sell my t25 to fund it :P
has any one got any tips when looking to buy a Delica such as faults to look out for?
Any way keep the ideas coming folks it's all intresting stuff :ok

Dont know a great deal about them, save to say Daughter has had a couple of Shoguns as have many local 4x4 guys, same mechanics as Delica, apparently earlier engines are easier to work on and less troublesome, her present truck is a 1992 model with the earlier 2.8 TD fitted, pulls like a train,25 mpg thereabouts as long as your name isnt Roger. :)
