Al and I had a chat a while back about picking up unwin track from van breakers - used in minibuses for clip in seats

Cool. I don't mind routing channels in my commercial board floor. While we're focussing on this particular element, I can get an alloy chequerplate folding ramp made up by our preferred fabricator. Consider that sorted.
I seem to be going a bit "Bob Geldof" on this one
but it feels good to be fired up about something worthwhile.
I'd really like the blessing of the commitee before I approach the Hospice, I don't want to do this without a fair idea of attending vehicle numbers/available seats etc. and a bit of an outline plan.
I do think it would be better to run some sort of "Parants & Siblings" day first to test the water. Remember that some of the children and young people who attend CHASE are physically able, but have a life-limiting condition. These are the ones who we should try and accommodate once a "dry run" has been successfully pulled off.
If anyone can clarify the liability aspect further, please let me know. What was the situation at CJ or was it not considered at the time? It is important but I don't want to get all hung up over the paperwork in this culture of blame
