The fridge electrics run off your leisure battery. Your fuses are ok so is your leisure battery flat? You should have some metal switches above and to the right of your fridge. If you flick the right hand switch the battery power is indicated by three lights. The top green one is 12.5 volts+, the middle yellow light is 12v and the red one is under 12v and dodgy. Check it out.

The 12v side of the system will not cool the fridge down. It just keeps it ticking over while you are drving along and after you have already used the gas or electric hook up for a few hours (preferably over night) to cool the fridge down. Have you checked to see if the electic hook-up works the fridge? It takes about an hour or so before you notice the cooling element in the fridge getting cold.
I can have a look at it if you like. I will send you a pm.

All the obvious electrics are working. It might be a problem with the gas button electrics on the fridge. There is no clicking when the gas button is pushed or when the gas ignition button is pushed. If the fridge works on hook up then that is possibly the problem.
Let's hope that the hook up works.

The fridge needs to come out to test the switch, wiring and igniter.
It takes about 15 minutes to get it out, maybe a bit longer on your first go.

Yes, not a problem. Due to work, home life and going on a road trip I won't be able to help until 18th of September. If you can wait till then I will be more that happy to help a fellow westy owner.

Cheers Patrick. Cheers Tom. Might have to break out the tool box and give it a go.

Yeah but try the electric hook up first. If that is working for now you will be fine for your hols. To be honest I rarely use the gas side of the fridge. Usually just on club meets when there is no hook up. Happy holidays.
