Fitting new front seats at the minute, God what a job , thought id done with the welder, im having to weld new subframes and use the runners off the old seats and fix em to the new frames,
Im using SAAB leather seats but from looking at the Wiki i think mine are a different design or ive read summet very wrong

.
Thought it was gonna be a half hour job, drivers seat took all day and passengers side is coming on slowly.
Having said that it allow Andrea to have a sit in Jambo at the wheel(making suitable enginey type noises, you know just like kids do

)
pics will be along once they are fitted

Both seats now fitted, passengers has a swivel base and works fine.

Also insulated and refitted sliding door panel.
Another little mod im doing is to fit a chrome style VW badge to the grill. This came free of charge from my local VW dealer who gave me the ok to get one from a discarded front grill off a newish car which they had in for some rework. if i had more time i would have got a few more .

its bigger than the standard vw badge so im going to make a couple of clips to fix it to the grill.

When I first joined on here I found the video of him being waved off, and realised it was filmed in Runcorn

I have only had Charlie for 7 months, but I couldn't bear the thought of parting with him. Must have been a difficult decision indeed
