Hi folks! We're going too - just need to book it in the next day or two. We are heading out to Germany the week before to make the most of it. Has anyone ever camped in Germany before? Is it easy to get into sites at that time of year? Anyone recommend a decent travel/camping guide? Sorry for all the questions, but suddenly realised that this is nearly upon us!

Sorry guys, I am not going to be there this year.
I have been invited on a 2 week canal tour around the four counties ring and fly back to Germany on the Sunday of the meeting.

For all those going to the Berlin Bus Fest

It may be worth packing Mosquito repellant, I got bitten to buggery this weekend.
Skin so Soft from Avon repels apparently and Lavender Oil stops the bloody incessant itching!!!

And don't sleep with your feet poking out of the duvet when blathered.

And suntan cream, it's going to hit the normal 29 - 30 here today and there is not much shade at the fest site.

At Nurburgring last july it was 13 celcius... :(

Good thing I brought the fan heater.

Hopeful question... are there any electric hookups at Berlin Bus Fest

Cordialement,

Yes, but you can't hear them after 12 bottles of Beck's.

There were EHUs in the family area last year, they were a bit hit and miss but worked most of the time.
