Photo of shaped plywood.

Any ideas?

Image
Think it goes somewhere behind cooker/fridge unit betweeb B post and white ply panels with power socket mounted on.

No screw holes in wood so not sure if it just wedges in?

Just spotted it on one of your photos. Goes to rear of fridge vents behind the power socket. Screws fix into edge.

Van going for MOT tommorrow.

Did a couple of jobs tonight.

Image
Removed cupboard and fitted insulation behind. Also fitted plywood backing with power outlets.

Cleaned out water tank and part filled with water and sterilising tablets, will leave that overnight.

Image
Went and bought some lino today. £24.00 from Franks. What do you think Mark?

Nice one Jeff and Mark! Shows a bit of DIY can pay dividends. Looks like you've got a good payback for all of your hard work and going the extra mile. Well done chaps :ok

Also cleaning and painting this afternoon.

Image
Cleaned up and painted side window cutain rails, table leg clips, pushrod cover, exhaust shield and misc under cupboard bracket.

Still require exhaust shield and pushrod cover for other side of engine.

Had a run down to Goathland this morning. Treated myself to ice cream and had a wander round.

Couple of nice cars in village. Dolomite Sprint and this 1969 Triumph 1300.

Image
Unusual car at the time as it is front wheel drive. Also this is the shell that eventually turned into the rear wheel driveToledo/Dolomite range.

Image
Lovely little car. Restored by the current owner who was from Coventry.

My Uncle had one of these when I was a kid and this is what give me the Triumph bug.

Should have said Jeff, could've met up for an ice cream or a coffee. Nice car that Triumph. Used to have a dolomite for a short while. Bit too juicy though so I got rid..... then further down the line I own a T25

Just been reading the start of this thread were you overhauled your front and rear brakes. This gives me confidence i can get mine sorted and restored rather than buying all new as the garage had suggested. grrrrr
might need new piston seal kit if they have fallen apart. They said the van had uneven braking so it may be its only using one piston instead of two.
Did you get new brake drums on the back or just overhaul and clean the old ones?
