1.9AAZ OR MK5 TDi?

Post by Sco77w »

Looking for a bit of advice.
I have an “84 T25 that started life as a petrol powered van but I took it on as an unfinished project. As many projects do this one still hasn’t been touched since been recovered home.
It’s had a 1.9 TD engine partial installed and abandoned, now my question is do I pay for someone to finish the conversion with what’s there or I have an 08 2.0 diesel TDi eos (same as the mk 5 golf I think) that I’m happy to use as a complete donor car. I’m not even sure if that conversion can easily be done.

Recommendations for someone in or around Teesside to take on the work needed too please.

an AAZ install is an easy one if you can source the JX turbodiesel parts. It is almost bolt on plug and play on a petrol. It is truely a bolt on on a JX van.
A 2.0 tdi install will need quite a lot fo fabricating.
