Air filter on aaz conversion
Hi, on the last leg of my aaz conversion from jx 1.6, trying to mount the original jx cylinder air filter the brickwerks way,but it sits on top of the aaz inlet manifold flange and won,t go any lower! how do i get round this? also how do i fit the big hose from the jx turbo to the aaz inlet manifold with the air filter in the way? as an alternative if i put the air filter into the void by the taillight, is there a hose available to connect the filter to the bottom of the snorkel tube? if so anyone got a part no,would appreciate any advice,Cheers

https://brickwerks.co.uk/product/inlet- ... ting-pipe/
https://brickwerks.co.uk/product/turbo- ... -1-6td-jx/
On mine the air filter sits in the near side recess (rhd)
The pipe in linnk 1 attaches to the air filter and gives the angled bend so the pipe in .link 2 can go to the turbo. The pipe in link 1 just pushes onto the air filter and the two pipes are connected with a jubilee clip and a jubilee clip to connect the second pipe to the turbo
I will pur up a photo tomorrow if that helps.

Re: Air filter on aaz conversion
Thanks for taking the time to reply, so does the air filter go into the cavity with the screwcap going in first? and not connecting to the snorkel? or if i was to do it the alternative Brickwerks way, do you have to use a jx inlet manifold, instead of the aaz manifold, because the air filter would then sit on top of the aaz inlet flange, Cheers,Pete

myBusparts in Germany have a new line of steel reinforced diesel connector hoses for the horizontal pipe now available, but you need to reuse the original plastic ends, just listed in sales email I received this morning
