I am not sure if this should be in Campers, but it is an electrickery question so here goes..
I have bought one of #400391516073 off the bay, measuring 1 x 2 metres. Is it feasable to make 2 from the one by cutting it across the middle? I want one for under the canopy/fold out bit of our rooftent and one to go inside the same.
Obviously running them off 12v leisure battery, not a mains adaptor!
I have blown led's before with the wrong voltage, no idea how these are protected when used like this.
