Probably a daft question, but is there any limit on how long gas should be stored in the tank for? This is the underslung westie tank for cooker and fridge. The gas in mine might have been in there for years, and wondered if it had any sort of shelf life if that makes sense.
Cheers

Hmmmmm interesting question and one that I don't have an official answer for only to say that unlike other fuels, like petrol for instance, an LPG tank isn't vented so there is no opportunity for elements to vaporize off. Petrol on the other hand is formulated from a cocktail of ingredients, some of which over time will evaporate away drastically effecting it's properties.
Indefinite shelf life. LPGas does not deteriorate over time unlike some other liquid fuels that gel, stratify or evaporate. In the context of rural energy shelf life is critical. Traditional fuels can have a short shelf life and must be protected from the weather to prevent deterioration.
