If its knocking badly now then the casings/cages have been damaged, it will only get worse!
Syncronuts, CJ, etc might be able to help, give them a ring.

GSF do them for £32.50 each dont know if there is one near you though :D

I have one knocking on the rear now.....is it usualy the inner or outer that go? only happens on hard left cornering.

I have always found Edmunds Walker or Partco to be good for stuff like this, but aint priced any up yet

Knocking drive shafts

The constant velocity joints are probably worn.

You can get new joints from Just Campers in a kit. No need to change the drive shafts.
