its difficult to tell without taking one out (and you cant do that unless you have a collapsible pushrod tube)
its fine to have a fraction of a gap on a hyd..
Its should have hydraulics in but its had a rebiuld? so who knows...
It may be possible to remove the pushrod and see down the tube, if you can make out a clip holding the cntre piece in the outer of the lifter, then they should be hydraulic.. I doubt the solids are 2 piece so could be a way of checking...
hydraulic or solid tappets?
